  • Kamala Paradise

    February 24, 2015

The sweltering weather in the Kamala area in Phuket made wearing a dress the perfect choice to wear. The light chiffon material flowed freely in the warm breeze as I danced about the day.

Midis have been a staple in my wardrobe, and I am pleased to be able to wear them in my third trimester. There is something about these that make me feel so sophisticated and put together. Best of all, they are so easy and comfortable to stroll around in.

  • With Love, From Paris

    February 14, 2015

Valentine’s Day made me remember our recent trip to the most romantic city in the world–Paris. We wandered the city hand in hand, shopped the Champs Élysées, had a romantic picnic in the Luxembourg Garden, and dined at two of the most famous Michelin starred establishments, Le Cinq and Epicure. All of this was planned by my wonderful husband.

As if that wasn’t enough, my husband decided to be extra romantic by surprising me with a photographer who captured a few moments of our charming weekend in Paris.

Despite the cold weather on this windy day, I wore my red chiffon dress as we were on our way to the Cathédral Notre Dame.

  • Elephant Trekking

    January 23, 2015

A trip to Thailand wouldn’t be complete without elephant trekking. We roamed through the jungles and climbed up various trails which led to a spectacular view of Phuket. We also got a chance to feed a baby elephant several baskets of bananas, but the little creature was so hungry he simply devoured everything before we were able to capture it on camera.

  • Tiger Kingdom

    January 21, 2015

One of the items on my bucket list has been checked off–cuddling tigers in Thailand! Unfortunately most of the pictures did not turn out as we had hoped, but it’s still an experience worth sharing. They were so unbelievably adorable, and one of our tigers was sucking his thumb while we were napping on him.

I may have loved being around the tigers too much, because I started posing with the cat at our resort as if she’s a tiger. She was not amused.

  • Phang Nga Bay

    January 19, 2015

We began our travel to Thailand by canoeing through caves and speedboating through islands. Koh Panak and Koh Hong had wonderful caves waiting for us to explore by canoe, while Kao Ping Gun (aka James Bond Island) offered a breathtaking view.

We concluded our island excursion by jetskiing for about an hour at Naka Island, where we took advantage of the high speed limits and calm waters.

  • Floral Affair

    January 15, 2015

Indulging in exotic Indian fruit and lounging around in my jersey dress while being mesmerized by a captivating novel are just one of ways I spent relaxing in India. On a day like this, I chose to wear a floral piece by ASOS to allow me to move comfortably around our beautiful estate.

It was a particularly special trip as my in-laws were just finishing up their dream house they have built for all of us in India, and it was the very first time my husband and I had laid eyes on all its splendor. It was easy to get lost in the generous sized home, and I had endless options of where I wanted to spend my day. The spa? The gym? How about the the billiards room, or the theater room? It goes on.

While I paid a visit to each room, I often liked to retreat to the enclosed gazebo above the pool and drift off as I peruse through the chapters of my book. The warmth of the sun gleaming down my back as I casually sway in my swing was more than enough for me to decide I never want to leave. The only time I wandered out was to play with the seven puppies my in-laws rescued! Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that make me the happiest, like curling up to a good book, cuddling with puppies, and spending time with family.

With a resort-like atmosphere in the palatial home, it wasn’t hard to achieve the ultimate relaxation.

  • Gardens of Versailles

    December 18, 2014

Visiting the Palace of Versailles was magnificent on its own, but what truly took our breaths away were the beautiful gardens. The expansive greenery and opulence allowed me to channel my inner Marie Antoinette, and evoked a sense of splendor that left me in awe as we roamed about the gardens.
